The Australian
Heritage
Dancers are a demonstration group, based in Sydney, specialising in the
presentation of Australian social dance, from European settlement in
1788
up to modern times - recreating and preserving our country's
traditional
music and dance for the entertainment of audiences today. They
recreate, both in dress and manners, what it may have been like living
and dancing in Australia in the 1800s.
